This cherry console table was an original design. It was inspired by the simplicity of Shaker furniture. In the process, my wife suggested the kumiko panel on the front and back. Kumiko panels are precisely cut pieces that are assembled without glue. It is my favorite part of the design. The drawers are maple with handout dovetails joints. The table will darken over time, a unique characteristic of cherry.
